The Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways is designed for students who require further skills development to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.
The core units focus on providing students with training in the use digital technology for routine workplace tasks, responding to workplace problems, basic workplace mathematics, effectively interacting with colleagues and reading, writing and responding to routine workplace information.
The qualification is suitable for individuals who require:
- A pathway to employment and vocational training
- Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3
- Entry level digital literacy and employability skills
- A vocational training and employment plan.
To obtain this qualification students must successfully complete the required assessment tasks.
