Celebrating 40 Years & 2024 Adult Learners Week
In September, we celebrated a major milestone—40 years of transforming lives through education and training at Tamworth Community College Incorporated.
As part of our ALW2024 celebrations, our 40th Anniversary Open Day was an overwhelming success, with so many people visiting and touring the College!
The day was packed with activities, including a fun and creative Kokodama workshop, exploring our Heights and Confined Spaces Training Trailer, face painting, games and stalls from other local community service providers. We had a sausage sizzle cooked by our BOS Program students, coffee, fairy bread and birthday cake!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended today and made it such a memorable occasion. Whether you’re a current or former student, a partner organisation, or a curious community member, we are so grateful for your support. I also want to extend my deepest thanks to our incredible staff and trainers, whose dedication and hard work made this event possible.
Today’s success is a testament to the power of community education, and we are so proud to continue providing opportunities for growth and transformation for learners of all ages and stages of life. Here’s to 40 years of lifelong learning and the exciting journey ahead!
